Sometimes the great beneficiaries of the mistake are the passengers that fly at a flagrantly mispriced price but itยดs not always the case, at times even airlines sell tickets for flights that the airline cancel due to a price error.
All this translates into problems for the airlines that have to deal with the consequences of the errors and/ or dissatisfied passengers.

The price of an air ticket it is not like the price of other products sold in a marketplace, since the calculation of that price is subject to several variables (fare rules), such as: eligibility, day/time application, seasonal application, flight application, stopovers, advance reservations and ticketing, among others.
With biztribution the airline can use Personalized Pricing engine (part of Zero Latency Computation suite) which allows to create business rules to be loaded with prices. At the end of these business rules, biztribution recommends to add a small set of security rules to avoid mistakes. These rules are as ease as write for a single flight โFor flight ZZ7890 Cabin Class F price should not be lower than Price X, if it is, send an email and do not publish this offerโ translated to NDC language.

Today we are happy to announce that International Air Transport Association (IATA) recognizes that biztribution Retail Technology API meets the criteria to be certified as hashtagOpenAir Level 0. Our solution for PSS / Offer & Order is a high-end computation solution able to reply in milliseconds with dozens of responses to search transactions on behalf of the airline(s) including all the calculations necessary to deliver real-time personalized information or best routing between an origin & destination among others.

European Commission has awarded biztribution with Seal Of Excellence for project proposal “Towards a fully decentralized distribution for next generation of travel and tourism distribution”.
The Seal of Excellence is awarded to projects presented in the programme for Research and Innovation of the European Union, known as Horizon 2020 Programme. The objective of this programme is to recognize the value and effort of the proposals that qualitatively exceed the established threshold with the following criteria: excellence, impact and quality & efficiency of implementation.
This seal allows biztribution to access funding sources, either public or private, and identifies biztribution as a game changer, at the same time that it is recognized as a disruptive and innovative blockchain based technology solution for travel & tourism ecosystem.
We are happy to announce that biztribution is one of the seven startups that has been selected out of more 80 European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) seal of excellence holders to participate in the investors event organized by EuroQuity – Bpifrance.
